RAL-Based Powder Coatings

To complement our wide variety of standard powder coatings, Alesta® powders are also available in a vast array of RAL colors. The RAL color system is a globally recognized European color standard. Many of our most popular RAL colors are kept in stock in a warehouse near you. For your convenience, our RAL products are available in 25 lb. boxes. Pricing is dependent upon color and volume.

Our RAL powders are now formulated using a high gloss hydroxyalkylamide (HAA), polyester chemistry. Our Alesta RAL HAAs replace the previous TGIC versions. Axalta powder has over 20 years of experience in formulating HAAs and we believe the trend in North America will reflect a transition from TGIC-polyesters to HAA polyesters (TGIC-free) for two reasons:
